Look at your car's paint under a gas-station canopy or in direct afternoon sun. If you see fine circular scratches that look like a spider web, those are swirl marks. They usually come from automatic car washes, dirty towels, and years of normal wiping. On older or sun-baked vehicles, you may also see oxidation, a chalky, faded look where the finish has lost its depth.
Paint correction uses a machine polisher to carefully level the top layer of the clear coat. That removes or reduces those defects, so light reflects cleanly again. It's the difference between paint that's clean and paint that actually looks glossy.

"2-step" means two machine passes. The first step uses a more aggressive compound to cut out as much of the defect as is safe. The second step uses a finer polish to refine the finish and bring back clarity and gloss. Doing both is what separates a real correction from a quick one-pass shine.

Every paint job has a limited amount of clear coat. A good correction removes only what it needs to, and part of our job is knowing when to stop. If a defect can't be safely corrected, we'll tell you.
Freshly corrected paint looks its best when it's protected. We offer ceramic wax as an add-on (from $100). It's also built into our Elite and Signature full details, where it gives about six months of protection. To be clear, ceramic wax is a wax product, not a ceramic coating. We don't offer ceramic coatings.
After a correction, the biggest thing you can do is avoid what caused the swirls in the first place. Skip the brush car washes, use clean microfiber, and wash with a gentle method. Keeping up with regular detailing helps too. Our membership plans make that easier to stick to.
Machine polishing is detailed, careful work, so it's a longer appointment than a standard detail. How long depends on the vehicle's size and the paint's condition, and we'll give you a time estimate when you book.

Yes, we're fully mobile and bring our own water and power. Because heat and direct sun make polishing harder, a garage or shaded spot is helpful. We'll talk through the location when you book.
If the paint looks swirled or hazy in direct sun even when it's clean, wax alone will only hide it for a short time.
